October 19, 2019 – Last Port of Call – Last day of Cruise 😦
Our final stop (port of call) and our final cruise day would be spent in beautiful Santa Barbara, California.
Our initial plans were to take a whale watch tour with “Condor Express”, but they had cancelled tours for the day due to “poor weather”. Since other boats were going out, we made the assumption of that there were not enough pre-purchased tickets. Unfortunate, as this is a hot spot for cetaceans. We therefore decided to stroll on our own for the final port of call. 
From the above map, we were tendered to “SEA landing” (bottom left) and from there we initially walked along the beach to “Mission Creek” and managed to find a few birds 🙂 After Mission Creek, we went to “Chase Palm Park” and then ventured to State Street for a stroll into town. Finally, we went to “Stearn’s Wharf” before heading back to the ship.
